Viola Davis accomplished EGOT status, in the wake of getting her most memorable Grammy.
The 57-year-old entertainer won the honor for the best book recording, portrayal, and narrating recording for her journal, Tracking down Me, at the 2023 Grammy Grant’s debut function on Sunday, in front of the primary entertainment ceremony.

The honor follows her Emmy win for How to Pull off Murder (2015), an Oscar for Walls (2017), and a Tony for both Ruler Hedley II (2001) and Walls (2010).
She’s just the third Individual of color to guarantee EGOT status, and the eighteenth individual to get the honor generally.
“I composed this book to respect the 6-year-old Viola — to respect her life, her satisfaction, her injury, her beginning, and end,” Davis said in her acknowledgment discourse. “What’s more, it has been such an excursion. I just EGOT!”
