The Washington Leaders have revealed another mascot and, as the group tweeted, “he’s sort of a pig bargain.”

Interfacing with a memorable piece of the group’s past, the mascot is a hoard wearing a Commandant’s uniform. He goes by Significant Tuddy.
The porcine individual is a reference to “The Pigs,” the epithet given to the establishment’s hostile linemen during the 1980s and ’90s under mentor Joe Gibbs. That gathering, which got its moniker from hostile line mentor Joe Bugel, included striking players Russ Grimm, Imprint May, Jeff Bostic, Joe Jacoby, and Imprint Schlereth. They generally played on somewhere around one of the establishment’s three Super Dishes from 1982 to ’91. Grimm was enlisted into the Star Football Corridor of Notoriety in 2010.
