It isn’t simple being the supermom of two NFL stars. In any case, Cheryl Bosa makes it work.
The current week’s problem is that her children – – 49ers guarded end Scratch Bosa and Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa – both have season-finisher games on Saturday. Timing and distance are an issue, however, with Scratch in St Nick Clara, where the 49ers will have the Seattle Seahawks at 1:30 p.m. PT, and Joey on the contrary coast confronting the Pumas in Jacksonville, Fla., at 5:15 p.m.

Eventually, Mother Bosa needed to settle on which game to join in.
“I was asking if I’d have the option to get to both,” Cheryl told Ashley Adamson and Lisa McCaffrey on the “Your Mother” webcast. “I didn’t luck out this end of the week. Ideally the subsequent end of the week, I will.
“Joey’s been harmed for the current year. I was at several of his most memorable games, I was at the game that he went down in, and afterward, he’s been out for 10 or 12 weeks. I went to his most memorable game back, which was fourteen days prior. It’s simply a numbers game. Like, I should show up for him.”
Joey enrolled six handles (two for misfortune), 1.5 sacks, and a constrained bumble in the initial two rounds of his seventh NFL season before going down in Week 3 with a crotch injury. He was out for 13 back-to-back games before returning in Week 17, he completed the season with the 6th most sacks and tied for the first-most quarterback hits on the Chargers.
“I was simply with Scratch, we went to supper after the game on Sunday [against the Arizona Cardinals],” Cheryl said. “Furthermore, I was very much like, ‘Angel, Please accept my apologies, yet I will go to Joey’s down,’ and he’s like ‘Totally, Mother.’ “
While Joey was out, Scratch hardened his case for NFL Protective Player of the Year. He completed the season with an associated high of 18.5 sacks, only one short of Aldon Smith’s establishment single-season record of 19.5, set in 2012.
The 49ers are riding a 10-game dominant streak into the postseason and will hope to expand on it so Mom Bosa can support the DPOY leader one week from now at Levi’s Arena.
