A 28-year-old official who joined the Ontario Commonplace Police (OPP) a while back was killed in a shooting close to Hagersville, Ont. on Tuesday evening, and two suspects are presently in guardianship.

The shooting happened at the convergence of Indian Line and Concession 14.

OPP Const. Ed Sanchuck said Const. Grzegorz “Greg” Pierzchala went to the area for reports of a “vehicle in a trench,” and when he showed up, he had a “collaboration” with two tenants.

In a late Tuesday night update, OPP Chief Thomas Carrique said the tenants of the vehicle started shooting, bringing about Pierzchala supporting hazardous gunfire wounds.
