

Entertainer and rapper Kaalan Walker has been condemned to 50 years to life for rape.

Walker was sentenced in April for three counts of effective assault, one count of attack to commit oral lovemaking, two counts of legally defined sexual assault and two counts of assault by inebriation, as per the Los Angeles Area Lead prosecutor’s Office.
Walker, 27, showed up in the 2018 redo of the 1970s film “Superfly” and featured close by Halle Berry and Daniel Craig in the 2017 show “Lords.”
He was captured in Los Angeles in September 2018 and blamed for a progression of rapes on hopeful models who he reached through web-based entertainment and guaranteed work valuable open doors, police said. Specialists said the charges dated to 2016.
Walker was summoned a month after the fact on nine lawful offense rape charges and was hung on more than $1 million bail.
Lawyer Andrew Flier said Walker’s sentence is “draconian” and referred to the preliminary as “extremely out of line.”
Walker’s safeguard group intends to pursue the sentence, Flier said.
