“Local area,” the six-season hit NBC satire series about a gathering of understudies at a junior college, will get back with a hotly anticipated film, NBC’s web-based feature Peacock reported Friday – satisfying the show’s own “six seasons and a film” prediction.

The film will stream on Peacock, which will likewise get the full series non-excusively.
