CINCINNATI – – If all else fails, toss it profound.

One play after fans at Paycor Arena were booing the Cincinnati Bengals’ absence of offense, they ejected when quarterback Joe Tunnel sent off the ball to wide beneficiary Tee Higgins, who pulled in a 59-yard score pass in the second quarter of Thursday’s down against the Miami Dolphins.

Cincinnati was confronting a third-and-11 and battled to find a hostile musicality after it scored a score on its initial drive.

Tunnel had Higgins in a one-on-one matchup, and like he said he was going to before in the week, Tunnel believed his recipient and let it fly. Indeed, even against a protector as great as Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard, everything helped Cincinnati out. Higgins made the catch, broke beyond Howard’s control and completed the play in the end zone to give the Bengals a 14-6 lead.
