What an opening shot to the 2022 Florida State football season.
The Seminoles invited FCS rival Duquesne into a revamped Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday to introduce FSU’s third season under lead trainer Mike Norvell.
Florida State had a terrible gathering with a FCS group last season in transit to a 5-7 completion. FSU enters this season with new ability, including move pass rusher Jared Verse. The offense will be driven in the future by double danger quarterback Jordan Travis, who tossed for 15 scores and ran for seven all the more last season.
The Dukes went 7-3 of every 2021 and beat FBS school Ohio. Quarterback Joe Mischler, an all-NEC player who tore his ACL to begin last season, had returned to open the 2022 season for Duquesne.
